The undying boss

This week I didn't really come across any major issues that weren't solved pretty quickly. So I figure I would talk about an interesting issue that the team found. Normally when you change scenes the game will save your new scene to a file so that if you end the game and reload your back at the start of that scene and do not lose any progress, this works fine in all but the very last scene with the final boss. Since all bosses are one-time fights if you beat the final boss and leave the game to reload into it, your character will be stuck in the final boss room with nothing to fight against and no way of leaving.
There were a few different ways this could probably have been solved, but I just chose to make that single scene transition not save the player's next scene data. So now after beating the boss and leaving the game, the player will be re-spawned right out side the main boss door and can either fight him over and over again or back track and explore the rest of the secrets the game has to offer. Never truly having a completed save file with endless amounts of play time to be had.
