Disavowed sets itself apart from other Metroidvanias by allowing the player to freeze time and set up pinpoint shots to stun enemies. It will be set in a world of plush and cute creatures where the player character has been cast out and needs to go on a journey to gather more strength and get back at his creator for tossing him out. Like many Meroidvanias, exploration and combat will be key to succeeding.
