Tinkerering on the Tinkerer
Ive been working on little things here and there on the Tinkerer. For a final boss hes got alot going on. There were previously issues where his attacks would overlap causing them to reset at what looked like random intervals. I would like to go in depth at a later time to revamp his entire attacking system to include cooldowns and a check for cooldowns when hes deciding between attacks.
Some attacks are working great and some need some retouches. While a warning for the saws and the darts were made some of the other attacks also need to be looked at. In the future i plan to make his lasers a bit more centered on the arena as currently they can spawn out of bounds making an entire attack phase for the tinkerer useless. The Saws and the Stone ball both only come from the left of the screen currently. I would like to set those up to have a chance to come from the right.
Overall the tinkerer is getting better and i have plans to speed his tempo back up and once im able to rework his attack logic.
